For this frame I got inspired by a section of the marvelous, and particularly rich in patterns,

inlaid stone-marble floor in the Saint Mark's Basilica in Venice.

Every time I visit it, it is a mind-blowing sensation.

Compared to the original design, as can be seen in the second picture, I have just changed the direction of the triangles,

each one made of a different stone or marble, so placing them to aim outward

instead of inward as the original decoration:

extroverted, radiant energy instead of an introverted, centripetal one.

The last picture is a colored drawing. by the architect  Antonio Visentini - 18th century -

that shows, outlined in yellow, the specific section of the floor.

The size is 85 x 85 cm./2,79 x 2,79 ft.
