A free interpretation and transposition into a scagliola inlay work of a very Flemish style painting

representing a still life by the Swiss painter Johann Rudolf Byss, 1701, from

the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Museum in Kassel, Germany.

A photo of the original painting is shown in the second picture.

The pictures of the scagliola version are taken in such a way to perceive

the reflection of the well-polished surface.

It required a very detailed

and minute inlay

work.
