    This oil on canvas by Ferraù Faenzoni aka il Faenzone after his birthplace - Faenza -, dates back to the end of the 16th century, ~1595 ca.

    This large painting - 3,30 by 2,20 m/10,82 by 7,21 ft - depicting the the Souls in Purgatory,

    is exhibited in the Civic Museum in Todi, Umbria.

    His expressive paintings straddle the

    styles of Mannerism and

    Baroque.
